Waltham Forest
A northeast London borough of London is the London Borough of Waltham Forest (/ˈwɔːlθəm/), England. Formed from the municipal boroughs merger of Chingford, Walthamstow, and Leyton, in 1965 was the borough; from Waltham Forest – a south-west Essex institution which managed deer, it took its name. Markedly different from that on the far side of the Lea, where the Area that is Built Up of London extends much further, stretching further north by several miles, beyond the Greater London boundaries itself, was the pattern of expansion in what became the Borough of Waltham Forest.
